JetBlue is set to introduce its first airport lounges, with the inaugural lounge opening at New York’s JFK Terminal 5 by late 2025, followed by another at Boston Logan’s Terminal C shortly after.
This move is part of JetBlue’s ‘JetForward’ strategy, aimed at meeting the rising demand for premium services. The lounges will offer exclusive benefits to top-tier TrueBlue Mosaic® members and add value for holders of a new premium credit card, details of which will be announced soon.
“Customers have been asking for a JetBlue lounge for years, and we’re thrilled to unveil our version in New York and Boston,” said Marty St. George, president of JetBlue. “Lounges are now essential for the growing number of customers seeking premium experiences. JetBlue’s lounges will enhance the value of our TrueBlue loyalty program as we expand our range of JetBlue credit cards.”
As the leading airline in New York and Boston, JetBlue aims to elevate the travel experience in these key cities through its JetForward initiative. This initiative seeks to establish the best leisure network on the East Coast. The new lounges will provide a serene space for customers to unwind, work, or relax, reinforcing JetBlue’s commitment to offering an affordable premium experience both in the air and on the ground.
JetBlue Lounge Access
To address the growing demand for airport lounges, which often leads to overcrowding and long waits, JetBlue will prioritize access for its most loyal customers and premium credit cardholders. Complimentary access will be available to:
- New premium JetBlue credit cardholders (details to be announced soon)
- TrueBlue Mosaic 4 members
- Transatlantic Mint customers
Additionally, TrueBlue Mosaic 4 members and premium credit cardholders will enjoy free access for one guest. Eligible customers will also have the option to purchase day and guest passes, subject to availability. JetBlue will offer an annual pass, allowing more travelers to enjoy the lounge experience. Further details about lounge access policies will be shared soon.
JetBlue is continuously enhancing its TrueBlue loyalty program, and Mosaic 4 members now have even more reasons to love it. Starting in 2025, Mosaic 4 members will enjoy complimentary access to JetBlue’s lounges for themselves and a guest, marking another milestone in Mosaic’s 12-year evolution.
In addition to lounge access, Mosaic members can look forward to exciting upgrades, including enhancements to the popular Move to Mint perk. From 2025, Mosaic members who earn 250 tiles will receive two additional Move to Mint certificates for every 100 tiles they accumulate. This new structure allows for unlimited Move to Mint certificates, offering more opportunities to enjoy JetBlue’s premium Mint experience.
Last year, JetBlue revamped its TrueBlue program, introducing new Mosaic levels, tiles, and exclusive perks. Members can achieve Mosaic status through travel spend, JetBlue credit card spending, or a mix of both, with tiles offering a customizable path to unlocking valuable perks.
JetBlue Lounges: A Space Designed for You
JetBlue’s new lounges at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (8,000 square feet) and Boston Logan International Airport (11,000 square feet) will feature the airline’s signature blue elements, local and regional art, and thoughtful design. Each lounge will be divided into three distinct areas:
- Play: Relax, socialize, or unwind with complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks prepared by skilled mixologists at the full-service bar.
- Work: Stay productive with private workspaces, fast and free Wi-Fi, plenty of charging outlets, and a complimentary barista-style coffee bar.
- Lounge: Enjoy complimentary food and beverages in a cozy, relaxed atmosphere, whether flying solo or with a group.
Each lounge will be staffed by JetBlue’s hospitality-trained crew members, ensuring top-tier customer service that aligns with the airline’s commitment to a welcoming and seamless travel experience.
